BioCNG Storage and Optimization Project (The City of Grand Junction):
ZAP Engineering and Construction Services, Inc. was contracted by the City of Grand Junction for the BioCNG Storage and Optimization Project. The City of Grand Junction produces a BioCNG product at their Persigo Waste Water Treatment Facility to fuel their City vehicles and was not operating efficiently due to lack of storage and intermittent usage at the Fleet Fueling Facility. ZAP successfully added the necessary storage, replaced an existing compressor unit to give the system redundancy / resiliency and optimized the system through new programming to allow for better management of the BioCNG product.
