The Mechanical Engineering Team works with the client and all other disciplines to specify and procure equipment to meet the project needs.
The life cycle of equipment purchase includes calculating equipment sizing based on process conditions, generating datasheet and specifications, working with vendors to ensure the appropriate equipment is being proposed, evaluating vendor proposals, selecting the correct supplier, reviewing and approving equipment submittals, and completing factory acceptance tests. The Mechanical Engineering Team also works closely with the Design Team to support 3D modeling. The MEs will create pipe specifications, run pipe stress analysis, and thoroughly QA/QC the model and all mechanical drawings.
