Cement Distribution Terminal
ZAP was contracted by our client to perform conceptual layout and design for a new rail distribution terminal. The system was designed to receive cement by dual rail tracks and off-load simultaneously into one of four silos. Each system had independent conveying systems to reduce the potential for cross-contamination, as each silo would likely hold a different type of cement. ZAP specified all equipment and provided a total installed cost estimate. The client utilized ZAP’s drawing package for both permitting as well as EPC bids.
