Inlet Compression & Cryogenic NGL Extraction
The train design includes intermediate-pressure inlet separation and slug handling, multi-train reciprocating compression totaling 30,000 horsepower, amine acid gas treating, and TEG and molecular sieve dehydration, feeding a Recycle Split Vapor cryogenic NGL extraction unit with 9,000 horsepower of refrigeration compression. A condensate stabilization system rated at 7,000 barrels per day and five-unit residue compression at 25,000 horsepower deliver stabilized products to pipeline at 1,320 psig.
Emissions Control & Balance-of-Plant Utilities
Emissions management is addressed through a thermal oxidizer for acid gas disposal, a dedicated tank flare for produced water tank vapors, and a main process flare system designed to API 520 and 521. Full balance-of-plant utilities include hot oil systems, instrument air, fuel gas, and chemical storage and make-up systems, integrated with a PLC-based process control and safety control architecture with SCADA communications to a remote operations center.
Brownfield Tie-In to Existing Plant Infrastructure
ZAP delivered FEED-level engineering across all process, mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines, incorporating the client’s engineering standards and specifications alongside applicable industry codes. The design included tie-in coordination with the adjacent existing plant, supporting the operator’s decision to expand a proven facility rather than pursue a standalone greenfield addition.
